60+mph wind power out for 17+hours and no end in sight a 20-foot tree a few feet landed a few feet from our laundry room 2 1/2 hours of cleaning up debris in the backyard hanging out in Barnes and Noble for warmth and internet access Wish us luck!
OH MAN! I was totally thinking of you guys when I saw that horrible storm! Good luck, and STAY SAFE! (and send some o that rain and wind my way! (please!))
No one really understands how stormy and crappy the weather can get in the northwest - unless you've lived there. The winter I took driver's ed in Portland (not the simulated kind, the one where you actually drive) we had records winds, rain, snow, ice, and massive flooding. Can I tell you how scared I was? I hope that the weather is nice and clear now - I think it is since I'm supposed to wake up to snow tomorrow. Good luck!
