He's a black lab/bulldog/corgi mix? It's a total guess but he looks just like a black lab.

Just make sure you get him outdoors to potty every hour. Give him lots of opportunities to do the right thing, and no opportunity to do the wrong thing (pee in the house).
Enroll in a puppy class so he'll have some manners, but more importantly he'll meet other humans and dogs and get socialized.
Give him lots of love, keep him and the cat separated for about a week (they need to get used to each other's scents first), and all will be well.
As an owner of many pets, I wish you good luck and lots of love. Dogs and cats are the best things ever! Even when they do gross things. Like my cat ate too fast and threw up and then my dog ate his vomit.
Congrats again! What are you going to name him?
