Meet Anden

Friends of ours (Brad and Trish) have a brand new baby. We got to the hospital JUST in time today-4:18 to be exact. He's 9 pounds, 10 ounces. A big guy! He's absolutely amazing with the longest toes ("like a monkey" his father said) and a head full of curly hair. He's loved. Very loved.

It's been 10 days since my last post. Jade-are you having dejavu? I know I stole that line from you, sorry. It just fit so nicely. Do I have exciting news? A good reason for being absent? An insane story about how life is going? Nope. I'm just crazy busy with work and trying to have a life outside of school. Night.

Once again I can post but I can't see my blog or anyone else's blogger.com blogs. Damn things. The weekend is almost over (considering it's 7:40 on Sunday night, it's pretty much finite-o) and I'm feeling down. Perhaps it's because I've got a sore throat and I know I can't just call in sick tomorrow. Maybe it's because my Grandpa was diagnoised with Parkinson's recently and I just found out tonight. Or maybe it's because I'm missing my family. Perhaps it's all of those things and more. I think I'll go crawl into bed and read.
